Sprouts Farmers Market picks location for another N.J. spot

Sprouts Farmers Market, a grocery chain expanding in New Jersey, has selected another site for a future Garden State store.

The grocer plans to open in the Aberdeen Plaza at the corner of Route 35 and Cliffwood Ave. in Aberdeen.

The town’s 22,700-square-foot store is expected to open by 2024 although an exact date has yet to be announced.

The new store will occupy half of the space that formerly housed an A&P supermarket, which closed in 2015. LA Fitness currently occupies the other half.

Sprouts is also looking to open a store in Haddon Township.

The Arizona-based company made its New Jersey debut in in Marlton in 2019.

Sprouts offers fresh produce, meat, seafood, dairy, a bakery and several other grocery items.

There are currently 404 Sprouts locations nationwide, with six more locations planned to open soon.
